CITY: LEICESTER We are looking to buy a house with a view to extending it. It is a semidetached 3 bed house. I am told by the current owners that it has planning permission for a two story extension at the back of the house.
The approx size would be about 6.5m (the width of the house) by about 3 metres. Would involve making the current dinning room and kitchen into one large U-shaped 'living area'. The old dinning room would becom a lounge area open to the extension which would be a dining area and kitchen.
What we need is a very rough estimate of how much a job like this costs so as we can make a descision on whether or not to invest in the property.
CITY: LEICESTER Two storey extension to 70s build semi. from planning to completion. to include new stairwell/case, kitchen extension, provide extra heating, plumbing, plastering etc; base size of structure to be approx 150sq.ft. property has two front and one rear dormer. with pitch and flat roofing. not being construction literate this is best description I can give.

 
CITY: LEICESTER We are wanting to extend our house with a 2 storey extension at the back of our house, the size we want to extend by is 13ftx15ft. The materials we are wanting is red house bricks which is what we have now. On the bottom storey we would like a set of french doors into the garden and a 4ft window on the other wall on the upstairs storey we would like a 5ft to 6ft window to the back. In the upstairs storey we would like a en suite bathroom but with a shower not a bath. We don't want a flat roof extension we would like the roof to be extended with the property also we would need radiators adding to these 2 rooms.
