CITY: EDINBURGH I have just bought a new house but it is covered in artex. I know removing it can be difficult and there are a number of options (plastering over, replacing ceiling or using a covering product. Given that the artex is beginning to crack and it has been suggested that the weight of the artex is an issue - what is the right option and what is the approximate cost per square foot??

I will be enquiring for detailed costings upon further investigation in the near future.
CITY: EDINBURGH I have a small bedroom (approx 3m x 3m) which needs re-plastering, along with the ceiling. Three of the walls (including one with a window and one with a door) have existing plaster which is sound. The other wall and the ceiling are bare plasterboard. Could you please provide a rough quote to skim the walls, and also to knock back to brickwork and fully replaster? Ideally I need the work to happen over a weekend, however can make the area available during the week if needed.
CITY: EDINBURGH Most of the walls and ceilings of my property require skimming as they are uneven or need artex obliterating.

I require the walls and ceilings of the living room, hallway, stairs and upper landing plus three bedrooms to be done.

I have no idea what the cost of such a project would be and would like some rough estimates.
CITY: EDINBURGH I have a 1920's semi with a 5 window bay window. I need the render and pebbledash replacing between the ground and first floor. About 5sq.m. Also to an area about 1sq.m to ground floor side of house and a few small patch repairs on ground and first floor. Thanks.
