CITY: COVENTRY Im looking for workman as soon as possible to put 2 timber floors in, removing existing floors completely,putting on ground floor; 10inch rsjs, joists, and boarding, its a shop floor, and will have to be raised about a foot and first floor stairs have to stay in but take a tred off, as to the doors at the front, 1 foot skylights over to come out doors raised up in to place, on first floor its going to be a 1 bed flat, so 3 of 8inch rsjs, joists, putting best old floorboards back treated, any new boards stained to match(i will be doing the treating and staining), to remove stone stairs to basement, stone i want to keep for the garden, replace, further in, with new staircase (can be made locally), i have a second hand pair of french doors for the basement in place of existing large old unsafe window so putting new rsj or 2 concrete lintels in over them,then according to quality and cost of work there would be more to do at later date, there are 3 floors in total in need of walls, doors, etc. I have engineers report for these floors and schedule on drawing of other works.floors are in imperial 30ftx15ft. We have made an offer on this house but will need to increase offer to win. Need to know estimate of work cost before proceeding.
